The CMS/CHS Pit Orchestra is the group that performs as the soundtrack to the annual all-school Music in March.  Students in the high school will have an opportunity to sign up to be a part of the pit orchestra.  If necessary, auditions will be held in December with rehearsals beginning in January immediately following winter break.  In the event that seats remain open, Mr. Verderese may invite some of the top performing 7th & 8th graders to join the pit orchestra.

Students who successfully audition for this group will be expected to be at all rehearsals and performances as listed on the calendar below.  Rehearsals will occasionally be changed, cancelled or moved.  In the rare instance that you will need to miss a rehearsal, please notify Mr. Verderese well in advance to inform him.  Repeated absences will result in removal from the group.  Students are expected to be prepared for rehearsal each day with their music, pencil, instrument, reeds, mutes, and all other necessary materials.
